Cree converted the lighting in six visitor conference rooms from fluorescent to LED lighting. Depending upon the fixtures used, Cree generally achieved average energy savings from 25 to 63% compared to the fixtures they replaced.

Results Cree replaced 34 CFL ceiling lights in its lobby and reception area, generally achieving energy savings from 21 to 77% compared to the replaced fixtures.
